"A walk in the moor" Scarf Knitting Pattern

$4.50

Inspired by the wonderful writings of the Brontë sisters, I created a light weight shawl which uses just five mini skeins of sock yarn. The yarn I used was hand dyed by Sherry Iris, a hand dyer from England.
The shawl is a shallow triangle with a large wingspan, which makes it easy to wrap around the neck and tie in front. The schawl starts with a few stitches at the top. The pattern is mainly garter stitch with eyelet rows where the colors change. The scarf is finished off with a picot edging and the addition of optional beads.

The scarf is not very big, just 38cm/15In deep. One wing is 105cm/41in long.

The pattern includes a photo tutorial for the flower brooch, which can be attached to the shawl as a decoration.

If you would like a quick and easy project, perhaps for a present, then this little scarf would be perfect.

You will get a pattern for this scarf, not the finished product.
